The internets is filled with stuff, so much stuff it seems like a job just to keep up with it all. Here at Super-Id, we like to keep it simple – one thing, whether it’s a photo, video, song, or whatever, they we think you should fucks with. We call it
Today’s…

How Every Girl Who Dances Should Dance

After consuming House of Cards in three days, Flashdance randomly popped up in the Suggestions queue and immediately released a flood of emotions. I haven’t seen the movie since I was a kid too young to watch an Adrian Lyne movie and fully understand all of the lust, sex, and sensuality of the film, but I do remember people moved by this scene. It was intense. It was moving. I was moved. And now seeing the title and watching it all over again, I’m still moved by the whole thing. Flashdance… yeah.

Never mind Flashdance introduced us to Jennifer Beals, the tragic mulatto or the film in the inspiration behind a chain of strip clubs, or the  Flashdance The Musical… Enough prattling, go check out the scene for yourself and see if you feel some type of way after watching it.

Editor’s Note: If you were born after Y2K or somewhere near there, you may not have known that Jennifer Lopez’s music video for Dance Again was a homage to Flashdance.
